Hi, I'm thinking about switching to Sodium but I use a lot of CIT packs that require OptiFine so I'm wondering like, how does that work? I know you use Sodium while also having CIT packs so I thought I'd ask because I'm not quite sure how to mix the two

I don’t have an in-depth video on it yet and I’ve only used Mizuno’s CIT with this mod so far, I’ve had some success with ferncraft getting to work but other packs give errors. If you download mod menu to get the in-game editor for mods, there’s another option you can enable for broken paths which apparently helps with that, but I’m unaware as I’ve not used it much!
Tbh I think optifine is superior for CIT/shaders but the performance on sodium is just what really keeps me there for regular play.

BUT I'm back and I made my first CIT pack!
Here are some item highlights that's on my pack: Lantern Posts, Drawers, Mushroom Charts (and frames), (Single) Flowerbeds, and Flower Barrels!
It's not that many but I've tried my best to bring in new looking CITs on the table + 9 wood variants are available on some items (yes, mangrove included) so win win for mangrove lovers out there~

good question- i posted on discord/twitter last month. i’ve been having some health issues that i’ve been trying to take care of which resulted in a small surgery procedure, that i’m currently recovering from.
for the time being i don’t know when i’ll be back to streaming as there was more testing being done about an additional problem that made itself known from the previous problems, and it may require additional time out.
i will probably do a few youtube things here and there, as i have a bunch of footage already recorded that just needs editing, but i’m not 100% sure when or even if i’ll be back anytime soon.
Do you have any map downloads?
nooo, i don’t usually do map downloads! i may do them for subscribers/supporters for my hardcore world at milestone days~

hi hi ~ so im kinda knew to the whole java minecraft thing and even newer to using fabric and CIT reswen. i keep running into an issue where my cit's arent loading. im thinking its the fact that they aren't made for the current version, since the 1.19 mizuno cit runs fine, but i was sure that it shouldn't be an issue that the cit's aren't up to date? So i wanted to ask if there was any specific thing you did to make them work? I have all the proper loader mods and everything, so im stumped.
i’ve only used mizunos cit in 1.19 and daggsy’s flower crowns. i’ve not had success with any other cits at this time.
in 1.18 i had some work and some not, but i’m not 100% sure the reasons why some packs refused to load and some didnt.

Is there a specific reason you don’t use optifine ? Or just personal preference ? I’m new to modding :) also love your content ! Thanks for all the hard work
There was some talk of optifine not being compatible with fabric, and optifabric not being continued a while ago, so I made the choice to switch to sodium.
The performance boost has kept me there. Being able to play with shaders while I’m around my villagers is a game changer
on a serious note, i’m unbothered by that anon. people can have their opinions of my content. it’s not my personal position to send hate to creators if i dislike their stuff, i usually will just leave and not interact with it! they can choose to click off my videos if they’re not to their taste, but if someone doesn’t… thanks for watching! 💗👏
